PRC accepts: New and used office furniture and household furniture New office supplies, hygiene supplies, craft items and school supplies
PRC has diverted over 2000 tons of materials from landfills and “socially recycled” them. “Social recycling” is making sure that items no longer needed by the original owner are put to responsible use by another person or organization.
Cell phone recycling and donation: The Wireless Alliance is a cellular phone recycling company and your source for new and used cellular equipment. They constantly strive to bring integrity, reliability, and great customer service to the wireless phone recycling industry.
The Wireless Alliance works with manufacturers, wireless carriers,recyclers and non-profit organizations to collect, resell andrecycle cellular equipment. All equipment is repurposed in a zero waste, environmentally-conscious manner. Since 2001, The Wireless Alliance has reclaimed over 500 tons of wireless equipment from landfills, contributing to a cleaner and safer environment.
Where does my donation go? The items come into our warehouse and are sorted with the support of our vocational employees. Goods that need to be repaired and repairable are kept and repaired, and items that cannot beused are broken down and recycled if they are recyclable. Household furniture is given away at no charge through our household voucher program. The recipients of the voucher program are referred to us by a member nonprofit agency. Office furniture is priced at 50-70% below the Fair Market Value and is sold to nonprofit community organizations. Other donations are assigned a small administrative fee.
Individual In-Kind Donations
To make an in-kind donation, call us Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.at 303-962-2270. To schedule a pick-up, complete our donor form and fax it to 303-962-2280 or email it to prc@prccolorado.org it. You will receive a call to schedule a pick-up within 48 hours. Usually we charge no fee for household pick ups, but items that cannot be recycled or donated may be subject to a small disposal fee.
Corporate In-Kind Donations
Our corporate donor program is designed to ease the burden on business of excess inventory and furniture. We offer a wide range of services, up to complete corporate clean-outs of office furniture and work stations. We offer an outlet for your excess or off-season inventory that includes special tax incentives. Most importantly, we ensure that the goods you donated are used by the organizations and individuals most in need. Cash Contributions
Cash donations are needed to continue the operations of PRC and to keep costs as low as possible for other non profits and clients in the community. Pick-Up Services
PRC is proud to offer donation pick-ups services. Please call 303-962-2270 for free pick-up. PRC charges a small haul away fee for those items that no longer have meaningful use.
