Volunteer Opportunities
Because our staff is small, the time and expertise of our volunteers is very valuable to PRC in meeting our ongoing project and operational requirements. Below are examples of some of the tasks and projects that give volunteers an opportunity to help PRC.
Community Resource Drives:
Volunteers are a vital component to the success of our annual resource drives. Both groups and individuals participate in our Holiday Hope Project and the School Supply Drive. Volunteers contribute by soliciting collection sites, providing publicity, preparing/distributing collection bins, facilitating donation collection, inventory packaging and distribution. General Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed in a variety of ways, no matter what talents you wish to share we can find the right opportunity for you. Please return the application to start the process. Below are just some ways you may be able to make a difference.
Administrative Volunteer Professional:
Volunteers can offer their expertise in website design and programming, marketing strategies, donor relations and much more.
Mentor Professional:
Volunteers are needed to assist PRC in its vocational program. This program takes individuals and helps them get back into the work force. Volunteers will mentor vocational employees in a wide variety of warehouse skills, such as maintenance, inventory control, furniture repair and forklift operations and administrative skills.
