So here’s the thing… We get it. This referral process is redonkulous. But we’re working on trying to make this thing as easy peasy 🍋 squeezy for you! So to help us out, please follow these steps below and we’ll deal with the rest. Deal? 🤘😎🤘
Here are the documents we need in order to fully process clients into the vocational program. Do the right thing:
A completed referral form with the client’s most up-to-date information.
Mental Health Report (MHR)
A complete Mental Health Report must be completed by the clinician and/or psychiatrist.

PLEASE DO NOT REFER CLIENTS DIRECTLY TO DVR
We’ve got this contracted partnership with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, so clients of the Aurora Mental Health Center must be referred to the vocational program before receiving DVR services.

Given that our waitlist is 3-6 months long, we highly encourage you to invite your clients to participate in Employment Support hours provided at select Aurora Mental Health Center facilities (see below).
Employment Support Hours
PRC’s Employment Support Hours are every Tuesday from 1-3pm and give job seekers the opportunity to create or finalize resumes, fine tune interviewing skills, and brainstorm potential employment opportunities with a dedicated job coach in a group setting.
On the first and third Wednesdays of the month, one of our dedicated job coaches host one-on-one sessions with clients who are looking for direct and situational assistance. To make a half hour appointment for a client in need, please contact Brittany Cook at the contact info given below.
In a similar style to PRC’s Employment Support Hours, one of our dedicated job coaches spends two hours (10am-12pm) on the third and fourth Thursdays of the month assisting a group of clients with computer literacy, continued job search and resume submission and more.
Good work, team. We appreciate all the work that you’re doing and your patience through this arduous process. At the end of the day, our goals are the same: Recovery for our clients.
